COVID-19 Information

April 2022 Update

There is not currently any school-specific COVID guidance. All school staff and students should follow the Vermont Department of Health guidelines.

MANAGING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19

When To Stay Home

Students and staff are expected to stay home if they have any symptoms of COVID-19, even if they are mild, including:

  • fever
  • cough
  • shortness of breath
  • sore throat
  • runny nose
  • loss of smell/taste
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • diarrhea
  • fatigue
  • muscle aches
  • headache

When to Return to School

If your child is absent from school due to a non-COVID illness, they can return to school when they:

  • are fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medicine, such as Tylenol or Advil)
  • are feeling better
  • have not vomited in 24 hours
  • have not had diarrhea in 24 hours

A doctor may provide additional information about when to return to school. This guidance should always be followed.
